Why the VIN comes first.
The VIN tells us what the truck or car takes, from a plain chip key to a flip key or a push-button fob. Whether a key still works matters as much, because copying a good key is a smaller job than making one from scratch. Give the dispatcher both, and the quote costs nothing.
Say yes on the phone and that’s the price at the truck. Anything extra the tech finds, like a worn ignition, gets its own price, and nothing is added unless you okay it.
Calling from 33598.
A dispatcher answers 305-528-1358 Monday through Saturday, 8am to 8pm, in Spanish or English. Tell them where the truck, the car or the door is (a street in a new subdivision, a job site, a lot on US-301, a gate off a county road, downtown Wimauma), what it is, and how many keys still work. No car or truck key gets cut until the tech has seen a photo ID with the same name as the registration or title.
The van doesn’t go out on Sundays or after 8pm. Lose a key late in the day and the truck can stay locked up where it is until we open. If a kid or a dog is locked in a vehicle, call 911 before you call us.
