Why we ask about the vehicle first.
An older pickup with a basic chip key and a late-model truck with a push-button fob are different jobs, and copying a working key is a different job from building one with nothing to copy. That’s why we want the VIN, and a count of the keys you still have, before naming a price; quoting costs nothing.
Agree to the quote by phone, and it holds at the truck. If the tech spots something else worth doing, you hear the price and decide before it’s added.
Calling from Ruskin.
305-528-1358 rings through to a dispatcher Monday through Saturday, 8am–8pm. Say where to find the vehicle or the door — an address, a job site, a lot on US-41 — what it is, and whether you have a working key. Before cutting a car or truck key, the tech asks for photo ID and the registration or title, and the names have to match.
Nobody goes out on Sundays or at night. A key lost after hours can wait until we reopen, with the vehicle left wherever it’s secure. If someone is locked inside a vehicle, a kid or a dog, call 911 before calling us.
