Valrico Locksmith.
Car keys and fobs, made at your car.

Valrico, River Hills & the SR-60 corridor

Lost the car key in Valrico, or need a new fob or push-to-start key? Zoom Locksmith is a mobile locksmith: we drive to the car — a driveway in River Hills, a parking lot off SR-60, your workplace — and the key gets cut and programmed right there, for most makes and models. Locked out, key stuck in the ignition, or house and business locks to sort out? Same van. A free quote starts with the VIN.

  • Mobile — we come to the car
  • Keys cut & programmed on-site
  • Insured & background-checked

Neighborhoods

From SR-60 to the Alafia.

Here’s how 33594 and 33596 break down on our route, from the SR-60 corridor down to the Alafia River.

  • SR-60

Between Valrico Road and Miller Road, SR-60 runs along the Brandon–Valrico line, then heads fully into Valrico — locked cars and lost keys in the lots along it, with the new key cut beside the car.

  • River Hills

Homes around the River Hills golf course and New River Hills Parkway — a spare fob for the second car, push-to-start keys and smart deadbolts.

  • East Bloomingdale Avenue

Where Bloomingdale High School and the Bloomingdale Regional Public Library sit — keys locked in cars in their lots, and move-in rekeys on the streets nearby.

  • Bell Shoals Road

On the Bloomingdale side, where many addresses read Valrico 33596 — spares made while a key still works, and new front-door deadbolts.

  • Lithia Pinecrest Road

Runs south from Valrico into Lithia — car keys made in the driveway, chip keys that stopped starting the car, and garage entry-door locks.

  • South to the river

Valrico’s southern edge, where the Alafia separates it from FishHawk — gate and shed padlocks, and car keys made wherever the car sits on the property.

The work

Car keys first, then the doors.

Car keys are our everyday work, and the van is stocked for them. House and business locks can be handled on the same visit.

01

Every key lost

Nothing left to copy? Then the car itself is the starting point. The VIN, or one of the locks once it’s decoded, gives us the key code; we cut a blank to it — edge-cut or laser-cut — and pair the chip or smart key with the immobilizer before testing it with you. Lost car key replacement walks through the whole job.

02

Fobs & push-to-start keys

On most makes, a new remote, flip key or push-button smart key gets paired with the car where it’s parked, and we cut the emergency blade hidden in most smart keys. Have the whole key ring for this car with you: on some models, a fob that’s left at home is dropped from the car’s memory during programming. Details on our key fob replacement page.

03

A spare while one still works

While one key still starts the car, a second one is a smaller job: it’s traced from the working key, then its chip is paired with the immobilizer on-site. Our spare car keys page goes through the options.

04

Ignitions, lockouts & house locks

A key stuck or snapped off in the ignition comes out, and the cylinder is repaired or replaced — that’s ignition repair. Locked cars open without damage, and the same visit can cover a move-in rekey, a smart deadbolt or a storefront lock on SR-60.

Local highlights

Why Valrico chooses Zoom.

  • The van comes to the car

There’s no counter to drive to. The key cutter, the programmer and blanks for most makes and model years travel in the van, so the key gets made where the car sits.

  • A free quote first

Read the dispatcher the VIN (the year, make and model work too) and the price is settled on the phone, before the van leaves.

  • Family-owned since 2018

Insured, background-checked techs, and a dispatcher who answers in English or Spanish.

Straight answers

Quoted first. Then we drive out.

The price comes before the trip.

We don’t guess at car-key prices. The dispatcher asks for the VIN — or the year, make and model — plus how many keys you still have, and gives you a free quote on that same call.

That quote is what you pay at the car. Nothing gets added once the tech is there unless you approve new work.

A person picks up the phone.

Dial 305-528-1358 between 8am and 8pm, Monday to Saturday, and a dispatcher answers in English or Spanish. Tell them the address or the parking lot, and how many keys for the car still work. Before anything is cut, the tech checks a photo ID against the registration or title.

There are no Sunday or overnight crews: lose a key outside those hours and the car can stay parked where it’s safe until the line opens at 8am the next working day. Anyone shut inside the car, a child or a pet? Dial 911 before anything else.

Valrico FAQ

For most cars, yes — no tow and no dealer. We come to the car, read the key code from the VIN or one of its locks, then cut the key and pair its chip or smart key on the spot. Some cars are dealer-only, every 2015 and newer Mercedes-Benz among them, and the VIN tells us on the call if yours is one. See how lost car key replacement works.

No — Valrico is its own community, bordered by Brandon on the west, with its own ZIP codes, 33594 and 33596. Both are on our route, and Brandon has its own Brandon locksmith page.

Both. Bloomingdale’s mail goes to two ZIP codes — 33596, addressed to Valrico, and 33511, addressed to Brandon — so the Valrico-address side (around Bell Shoals Road, East Bloomingdale Avenue and River Hills) is on this page and the 33511 side is on the Brandon page. It’s the same van either way.

It depends on the car and the key. Each kind of key is its own job — a basic transponder key, a key with remote buttons, a flip key, a smart fob for a push-button car. Laser-cut blades need their own cutter, and when no key works at all, the code has to be pulled first. Read the dispatcher the VIN and the quote comes before the van leaves — that quote is the price.

All of Valrico — ZIP codes 33594 and 33596 — including SR-60, River Hills, Bell Shoals Road, Lithia Pinecrest Road, North Valrico Road and Valrico Station Road. Across the river, FishHawk and Lithia have their own FishHawk & Lithia locksmith page.

Yes. Move-in rekeys to one new key, deadbolts and smart locks for homes; rekeys, master-key systems and storefront locks for businesses. Mention them when you call and they can go on the same visit as a car key.
